Art exhibition at Isle of Wight Festival

Graham Coxon's paintings will be shown over the period of the Isle of Wight pop festival 2010. The exhibition will run from Wednesday, 9th to Saturday, 19th June, 9.30am to 5pm daily including Sunday, 13th June.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view unseen works by Graham, and a must for all Blur and Graham Coxon fans. The exhibition will feature originals and all of the limited edition prints that have been published to date. The prints are in editions of 300, each one signed and numbered by Graham with prices starting from £114.

The power acoustic ensemble is back

Good news: Graham will be playing at Town Hall next may 15th as part of the english originals festival. A range of special guests will join him live at his performance.

First of all I want to make clear I'm not Graham Coxon and I don't have contact neither with him nor the record label. This is a blog created and carried on by an all-life Graham Coxon and Blur fan, made just for hobbie and with my high regard to him.

I started listening to Blur music when I was only 13. That was the Blur album era and they opened up my ears to indie music universe. The more years pass by, the more I realize they absolutley changed my life in many ways. In august 1998, Graham Coxon released his first solo album, in spite of still being a Blur member. Yet I had loved You're so great, a song that seemed promisig, nevertheless when listening to The sky is too high it was the point when I fell absolutlety and definitely in love with his almost childlike sensibility, inspiration, creativity, rage, tenderness and melancholy. I was 14 then and yet felt myself identified with his melodies and lyrics.

It's been many years since that and a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, but I still get deeply stired with Blur and also his solo music. That's why I've decided to create this blog, just for fun and to share news, my own impressions and so on. Oh, and because I've found out there aren't many blogs properly dedicated to him.
